Ball Starter

The Ball Starter utilizes the same construction as the Bench Rods except the shank is 6" long for the rifles and there is a brass stud in the handle to initially start the ball. The Starters for the 45, 50 & 54 caliber have a 10-32 thread on the end and are .375 diameter and are compatible with the standard jags. The Starter for the 36 caliber has a diameter of .312 and has a 8-32 thread on the end. The Jag may be removed and a muzzle guard can be installed and will remain on the rod after the reinstallation of the Jag. Brass Muzzle Guards and Jags are available for $1.95 each, please specify the caliber.
